When should I schedule my move?

As soon as you know your moving dates, you should contact our local and long distance movers at Matthew Moving Systems. It's a good idea to try and give the moving company as much notice as possible to ensure we are able to meet your preferred moving schedule.

When is the best time to move?

When moving, you don't always have the luxury of choosing your ideal date. However, if you do have a choice, we suggest choosing a time other than summer or the end of the month. These are the busiest times for our trucks, equipment and staff.

My moving date changed. What do I do?

Things happen and sometimes a change in your moving date is unavoidable. Contact Matthews Moving Systems as soon as you can. We can process any changes to your moving schedule and discuss updates. Keep in mind, your initial estimate may change depending on the newly selected dates.

Can my possessions be stored temporarily?

Yes, Matthews Moving Systems offers climate controlled storage in Charlotte on both a temporary and permanent basis.

Do you offer packing services?

Yes, we offer packing and unpacking services. On your moving day, you can choose to pack as much or as little as you are able to. We are able to pack everything or only a portion of your belongings, or you can pack everything yourself. Matthews Moving Systems is here to help make your move as smooth as possible.

Can I move jewelry and valuables?

Items of value can such as jewelry, money, antiques, etc. can be included in your move. However, we do recommend that you carry these items with you or make other arrangements for their transport.

Are free estimates available?

Yes, we offer free, no-obligation estimates so that you can be fully informed before making a final decision regarding which moving company to choose.
